Privacy and what we log
A plain-language summary of what this site records and why.
The short version
For security, we log IP addresses and basic technical information (such as your browser and approximate location) when you sign in, send a form, or make changes on this site. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also keeps ordinary request logs. We use this to keep the site safe, stop spam and abuse, and keep an honest record of who changed what. We do not sell it.
What we record
- Signing in: your email address, the time, and your IP address. IP addresses are cleared after 90 days.
- Changes you make while signed in (adding or editing events, managing a team, and so on): who made the change, when, and what changed. This is the site’s activity record.
- Feedback and “add my organization” forms: your message, your IP address, approximate location from the IP, your browser and device type, language, time zone and the page you came from. These details are cleared after 12 months.
- Hosting logs: Cloudflare records requests to the site (including IP address and browser) under its own policies.
- Analytics: Google Analytics runs only if you say yes to the banner, and never on pages you use while signed in.
What we do not record
- The dates you type into “Check my dates” are used to find conflicts and are not stored.
- We do not run advertising or sell personal information.
Who can see it
IP addresses and technical details are visible only to the platform owner. Organization admins can see the change history of their own organization’s events (who, when, what), but not IP addresses. Your name and email are shown to the admins of the organizations you belong to.
Your choices
Looking at the calendar and checking dates needs no account. To ask us to remove something we hold about you, send us a message.
